Star Wars: The Old Republic

Star Wars: The Old Republic, commonly abbreviated as The Old Republic, SWTOR, is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game that was produced and released by BioWare, a subsidiary of Electronic Arts. Developed over the course of more than five years by BioWare Austin and LucasArts at a cost of over $200 million, Star Wars: The Old Republic was first conceived in 2005 as an MMORPG follow-up to BioWare's previous video games, the popular Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and its sequel Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, and the game was released to the public on December 20, 2011.

In total so far there are 5 cinematic trailers:

Deceived is the first trailer released by BioWare for Star Wars: The Old Republic. Released on June 1, 2009, Deceived was the first of its kind for a Star Wars video game. Breaking from the normal use of in-game scenes and graphics for trailers, the nearly four-minute long Deceived video instead depicts a never-before-seen event in canon that takes place 10 years prior to the game's start: the Sacking of Coruscant. Deceived was rendered entirely in photo-realistic CGI by Blur Studio on behalf of BioWare and LucasArts, with the use of motion-capture techniques and fight choreography.

Hope is the second trailer released by BioWare for the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic. Released on June 14, 2010, the nearly six-minute long video depicts the Republic's struggle to retake Alderaan from the forces of the Sith Empire during the Battle of Alderaan, taking place 24 years before the beginning of the game and 14 years prior to the first trailer. The video is narrated by the Republic trooper Jace Malcom.

Return is the third trailer released by BioWare for the Star Wars: The Old Republic. Released on June 6, 2011, the video depicts the Sith Empire's effort to retake its ancient homeworld of Korriban, taking place 38 years before the beginning of the game. The trailer focuses on Darth Malgus and his struggles against Galactic Republic forces, as seen in the previous two trailers, Deceived and Hope, both of which take place 28 years and 14 years after Return, respectively.

Sacrifice is the fourth cinematic trailer released by BioWare for the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic, and serves as a reveal trailer for the Knights of the Fallen Empire expansion. Released on June 16, 2015, the video depicts the story of Arcann and Thexan, twin heirs of Valkorion, Emperor of the Eternal Empire.

Betrayed is the fifth cinematic trailer released by BioWare for the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic, and serves as a reveal trailer for the Knights of the Eternal Throne. Released on October 7, 2016, the video depicts the story of Vaylin.
